Pavement ants are small ants that commonly nest in cracks and gaps around pavement, driveways, sidewalks, patios, and building foundations. They often enter homes and businesses through tiny openings while searching for food and water.

Once inside, they can establish trails along walls, floors, and other areas where food is available. Outdoor nests may also develop under stones, slabs, debris, or along foundation edges, making them difficult to notice at first.

While pavement ants are generally small, their presence can become a persistent nuisance when large numbers begin foraging around your property. Proper identification and targeted pest control can help eliminate active colonies and reduce the chances of them returning.
